Configurable Products

Use the product configurator to easily add multiple options and dimensions to your products.
The configurator enables you to create unlimited variants and manage assemblies in one centralized view, while the system automatically calculates product cost and sales price based on the selected configuration.

Key Features of the Product Configurator

Variants and Dimensions – create different product variants and dimensions, which can also be interrelated.
Assembly Management – create and manage assemblies (recipes, BOMs) according to selected options.
Cost and Sales Price Calculation – the system calculates product cost and sales price already at the sales stage.

TRIMIT consists of several powerful components

Master – a general product or product template that groups products with similar characteristics.

VarDim Master – variants and dimensions that can be attached to the Master.

Formulas

Formulas – allow you to create calculations and rule-based logic within the system and add the results to various documents. Formulas are used as an additional function when creating assemblies. In addition, they can be applied to set up sales prices.

Master BOM

Master BOM – The product template’s Bill of Materials, which includes formulas, time, materials, routes, and overhead costs. The Master BOM serves as the foundation for creating temporary BOMs, which take into account the customer’s choices and the relationships between those choices.

Temporary BOM

Temporary BOM – A temporary Bill of Materials created based on selected options for a specific production order. Once the production order is generated, the temporary BOM is deleted. This ensures that the system maintains only a small number of BOMs that need adjustments if a material or any other component changes.
