Although Metaprint’s history spans over a century, the company is characterised by a forward-thinking mindset. In the past five years, it has taken consistent steps toward digitalisation.
In collaboration with OIXIO, Metaprint has implemented a more efficient payroll and HR solution, business intelligence reporting to support better management, and in February 2025, fully transitioned to a new ERP system — Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.

Metaprint Relies on Microsoft Solutions
Just as Metaprint is a leader in its field, Microsoft’s solutions are at the forefront of the software world.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is ideal for international companies with complex supply chains, large product portfolios, and high transaction volumes. It offers integrations with other Microsoft products and third-party applications, improving efficiency and reducing the risk of errors. This enterprise-grade ERP helps businesses quickly adapt to changing market conditions and drive growth.
The transition to Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations took place in several stages. First, Metaprint replaced its payroll and HR systems and adopted OIXIO’s employee self-service solution. This was followed by the implementation of financial and warehouse management solutions. In February 2025, the company completed its full ERP transition.
More Efficient Payroll and HR Management
OIXIO’s Baltic Payroll & HR solution, built on D365 Finance & Operations, is designed for medium and large enterprises. It reduces duplicate work and integrates seamlessly with national information systems.
This cloud-based solution supports the management of employee data, leave and absences, recruitment, motivation packages, performance evaluations, and gives a clear overview of key HR indicators.
With OIXIO’s solution, data flows automatically from HR to payroll and onward to payment and government reporting systems. The payroll module is backed by Microsoft Dynamics’ HR functionalities — managing companies, departments, positions, employees, skills, certifications, training, issued equipment, and health checks.
Convenient Employee Self-Service
Alongside the HR and payroll solution, Metaprint introduced employee self-service, which enhances communication between employees and managers, simplifies administrative tasks, and keeps the employee database up to date.
Through the self-service portal, employees can submit leave requests, check their remaining vacation balance, view colleagues’ absences, update personal information, and submit tax-free income declarations.
Managers gain better insight into contractual and compensation information and can approve or reject leave requests directly in the system.
Smarter Management with BI
Over the years, Metaprint has implemented various financial reports, budgeting tools, and accounts receivable solutions in collaboration with OIXIO. To ensure reporting is quick and user-friendly, the company uses OIXIO’s web-based ReportÄpp Reporting Portal, which presents data in a unified, logical format.
Recently, Metaprint transitioned to Microsoft Fabric, an AI-powered data platform that consolidates multiple data sources and analytics tools in a single environment.
Fabric helps manage and visualise data in a way that enables faster and more accurate decision-making. At the core is a cloud-based data warehouse that gathers data from various sources, reducing duplication and optimising both data management and analysis. For Metaprint, the goal was to create a solution where reports are generated and updated as automatically as possible — minimising manual work, accelerating decisions, and ensuring a clear and consistent overview of company performance.
