That’s why we are proud to announce that this season we are supporting Tormis Laine, the rising star of Estonian alpine skiing.
Why Tormis? Because Greatness is Born From Courage and Determination
Tormis Laine is a 25-year-old athlete who has been training in Tyrol, Austria, for more than ten years. His journey so far has been impressive:
- Multiple-time Estonian champion
- Competed in two Olympic Games
- In 2024, won a Nor-Am Cup stage in Canada and finished 2nd overall in the series
- Several podium finishes in giant slalom and slalom
The new season has also started strongly: at the World Cup opening race in Sölden, Tormis finished 23rd, once again making history for Estonian alpine skiing — for the first time, an Estonian athlete scored points at the highest level in the world. Everything points to even greater milestones ahead.
Tormis’s mindset and journey reflect the values OIXIO holds dear — ambition, determination, and constantly pushing boundaries. Just like in his course, we move forward in the technology world: the goal is the summit, and we get there with a well-thought-out plan and a strong team.
